Philly Gives is back for a second year to provide support to 10 essential nonprofits serving the Greater Philadelphia region.
The community fund campaign was launched in 2024, and is a partnership between the Philadelphia Foundation and the Lenfest Institute for Journalism. It’s supported by a grant from the William Penn Foundation.
The campaign pools donations from companies, individuals, and foundations to support local nonprofits that are having a high impact.
“Last year, Philly Gives proved that when we bring community-driven philanthropy together with the power of media storytelling, extraordinary things happen,” said Pedro Ramos, President and CEO of Philadelphia Foundation.
The Philly Gives fund spotlights local nonprofits that address urgent community needs, such as food access, workforce support, housing, youth development, and healthcare.
The 10 organizations that the 2025 Philly Gives Fund will support are:
- Attic Youth Center
● Catholic Charities of Philadelphia
● Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC)
● Congreso de Latinos Unidos
● Esperanza
● Project HOME
● Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Philadelphia
● Philabundance
● SEAMAAC (Southeast Asian Mutual Assistance Associations Coalition)
● SHARE Food Program
The 2025 Philly Gives fund launched on November 1 and will run through Dec. 31, 2025.
