The Holocaust Survivor Support Program at Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Philadelphia (JFCS) has one major goal: helping clients age safely and independently in their homes through holistic, comprehensive services. JFCS staff work with Survivors, their families, and their caregivers, applying a trauma-informed lens to ensure Survivors in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties maintain a high quality of life, connection to resources, individualized support, and a strong sense of community. JFCS care management services for Holocaust Survivors include supportive counseling and advocacy with committed and caring social workers, home care to help Survivors age with dignity, social and religious gatherings throughout the year, and Uniper, a free, easy-to-use digital platform that enables participants to attend programs and video chat in English, Spanish, and Russian.
